We never learn who you are
Signing up takes one click and produces a licence key. There is no email box, no name field and no card form — so there is no identity attached to your account for anyone to request, breach or correlate.
Private internet access
A tarn is a mountain lake fed by no river and drained by none — nothing enters it and nothing leaves. We built the account the same way: no email, no name, no card, and no record of where you went. Connect through 19 locations worldwide.

Why Tarn
Four things that are unusual, and one that is simply honest.
Signing up takes one click and produces a licence key. There is no email box, no name field and no card form — so there is no identity attached to your account for anyone to request, breach or correlate.
Bitcoin, Monero and Litecoin, and nothing else. No payment processor sits between us holding a list of our customers, because there is no payment processor at all.
We do not record what you connect to, when you connect, which sites you look up, or how much you transfer. Not as a promise that could change — those records are never created in the first place.
Plenty of networks and countries detect and block VPN traffic on sight. Tarn disguises your connection so it blends in with everyday encrypted web traffic, and keeps working when others stop.
Honest limits
Most of this industry sells invisibility. That is not what this is. A VPN moves trust from your network operator to us — it does not make you anonymous.
Signing into an account identifies you regardless of where the traffic came from.
Your fonts, screen size and extensions identify your browser across IP changes.
If your threat model includes a state adversary, use Tor. We are one hop, and we know it.
Malware on your phone sees your traffic before it ever reaches the VPN.
We hold very little, but we are a company in the world and we say so plainly.
Stops your ISP and local network seeing where you go, and stops sites seeing your home address.
Network
Every location sits outside the 14-Eyes intelligence-sharing alliance — a deliberate constraint, not an accident of where servers were cheap.
Pricing
Every plan is the full product — same locations, same speed, same device count. The only variable is how long you buy.
